The ladies of Rodarte, Laura and Kate Mulleavy, previewed their stellar Fall 2012 at The Room last week. The Bay’s eponymous designer  boutique, held the private soiree to celebrate the addition of the high fashion label. The California natives played hosts to a crowd of Rodarte enthusiasts. Guests included fellow Canadian designers Jeremy Laing and Greta Constantine’s Kirk Pickersgill, socialite Suzanne Rogers, Flare and Fashion Magazine editors, and Maggie Wrobel from the Globe and Mail. The collection included a sublime mix of rich colours, patterns and textures that were clearly inspired by the famed works of Picasso. The girls – who may we add looked gorgeous themselves thanks to Judy Inc hair guru Eduardo Mella – beamed as proud parents would, releasing their babies into the world of Canadian fashion.
